As most of you beauty baes know Anastasia Beverly Hills launched her first lip palette awhile back. There was so much hype about this on youtube and IG I had to have it. I’ve been using mine ever since and I love it.

These extremely pigmented matte colors are both light weight and seriously creamy…. I mean seriously creamy. Blending colors with this palette is effortless. If you love long lasting lippies this is what you need in your collection. Though this palette is for sure matte, they’re not as drying as Anastasia’s world famous liquid lipsticks.
This sleek, magnetic packaged lip palette holds a variety of 18 gorgeous colors. This includes 5 primary colors, white, black, red, yellow, blue. It also includes a double ended brush/spatula application tool and a mixing plate. Mix 2, 4,5 or as many colors you want to create your perfect color.
Color possibilities are endless when it comes to this lip palette. The colors also last so long that its usually hours before I have to reapply.

How to use:
When using this palette. I start by dipping into the first color using the spatula part of the application tool. I then place it on the mixing plate. I then do the same with the other color (s). I use the brush and sometimes my fingers to apply.

Cons:
Though none of theses cons are deal breakers for me I do have a few. The lip palette isn’t exactly beauty on the go friendly. This con doesn’t actually bother me too much, but I know it may be an issue for some. I travel with it , partially because I’m dedicated to beauty (and mainly because I’m stubborn). But the packaging is pretty bulky. It takes up quite a bit of space, especially when carrying it in your purse.
Another thing is the colors are not named on the product or package. The colors are distinguished by numbers on the back of the product and packaging. Though there are actual names for them, they can only be seen online. It would be nice to know the names. It would be easier to use names rather than numbers when your trying to remember your favorite lip combos.
Over time the Anastasia Beverly Hills logo on the application tool fades, but like I said it’s none of these are were deal breakers for me. I still adore this palette and I’ll probably purchase it again.
TIP:
Like I mentioned, the colors are extremely pigmented and long lasting. If the steel plate isn’t cleaned right away the colors will stain the plate. I use makeup or baby wipes to clean the plate right after I’m done using it. But if I need to remove a stain I put a little bleach on the spot for 20 seconds and wipe it off. It’ll come right off.
