When I initially spotted this primer I had no idea what to expect. Though the packaging says that it is”clear”, the word “clear” on cosmetics don’t always apply to WOC. Though the $6.00 price tag was tempting, I decided to pass.

Fast forward to March. I got a sample of the mineral infused face primer after purchasing some products from e.l.f online.I was super amped about this sample simply because of the name. When I hear the name mineral infused primer, I visualize luxury. So regardless of my initial uncertainty, I ripped that sample packet open the first chance I got.

 This primer lays perfectly on the skin and can be applied with your fingers. I find that it glides on leaving an even canvas for foundation. The mineral infused primer gives my combo dry skin a natural matte finish. On most days since I love a dewy finish, I only apply it in my T-zone. This is where I’m mostly oily and I stay matte for at least 7 hours.

I can honestly say that this primer does NOT leave a white cast or residue on my skin. I’ve actually worn this primer with and without foundation. This primer is 100% WOC friendly and has become one of my favorite products, definitely a must have for a beauty on a budget.
